Why I cant go to the incident from the parent field

Hi,

I have the Reference field 'Parent' in my sc_req_item table. Why I dont have the option 'Open Record' and go to the current incident?

Both can't be done , either make it read only or edit able. But why editable, if it is getting auto populated. Check this system property please

Check of the parent field has any dictionary overrides for the sc_req_item table, if so what are the attributes there?

Even if the field is read only the information icon shows up.

Hi,

please check dictionary override related list and see if you have Override attributes checked.

There must be an attribute "ref_decoration_disabled=true" in dictionary override for sc_req_item.
