Why is my reference field not showing a suggestion drop down?

Hello i have a reference field that when im typing into it i get no drop doing with suggested values. Also this field does not want to display the value when selected. It shows up bugged like this below

@cpinedatx94 Looks like you are trying to populate a sys_id which does not belong to the table US Airports.
