Why is the Project "Planned END date" changing based on the Project Tasks Planned END date?

Example: I have given a Project a "planned end date" of January 30, 2025,.

Then, I created project tasks using a script. Afterward, I set the "Planned End date" for one of the Project Tasks to August 1st, 2024. Once saved, the Project's "planned end date" has been changed to August 1st, 2024.

Is there any reason why it's getting changed? I want to keep the "Planned END Date," which should be what I desire.

@Prabhu6 Please check if there is a business rule defined on Project task which updates the end date of the Project depending on the updates in the Planned End date for project task.
