Why is there no functionality to attach different SLA's according to a variable in a catalog item?

This is a functionality requested. My only workaround is to ask the client to have various different catalog items with different SLA's attached to them.

This seems like a common problem which clients would ask customers and hence, why hasn't servicenow developed a way for us to do it?

Also , let me know if any other workaround is feasible.

@Aditya64

you can use variable in SLA definition conditions like this if you are creating it on RITM table

Hi thanks for the reply,

I cannot see the option of variables under the SLA definition.

Do you know why?

Thanks,

Aditya.
