I checked the attachment UI page but didn't find any forced encryption function.

Hello,

The padlock icon is when you have encryption enabled for attachments.

You can see when you go to add an attachment, you'll see an "encrypt" checkbox as part of that process. Even without checking it, it could still be auto applied, but this would be due to you enabling "encryption support" at a minimum, on your instance.

Example: https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/sandiego-platform-administration/page/administer/encryption...

Hi,

could you please tell me where can I deactivate this because I can see that encryption support plugin installed in both sub-dev and prod instances but only in prod that padlock is visible not sub-dev

Thanks,

Abhi
