I cloned a widget and edited the cloned widget as per requirement .How can i change the instance to the customized version of the widget ?(OOTB widget)

Hi @Devika  You mean, you wanted to replace the OTTB widget with Customized widget on a portal? 

If that is the requirement follow below steps

1. Click on page in designer

2. Now delete the widget instance using Bin button on widget instance

3. Now search for a cloned widget with the Name and drag and drop on your portal page

Widgets and Widget Instances are linked to each other via a reference field. It can be found on the "Widget" tab in the Default view of the Widget Instance form.
