I want to use the localization framework to translate the name of the Service (as I have such requirement).
I can use the localization framework to achieve this but I must decide whether to use a custom field or just change the type from string to translated_text.
Changing the type seems the best way but I`m concerned that it may pop-up during an upgrade.
Custom filed is safe from upgrade perspective but I`ll need to modify all related lists to include the new field and I`m not sure what else will pop-up.
Anyone done an upgrade with such scenario?
Any thought on the matter are appreciated 🙂
