Can Task and Approval Definition be created only if condition is met?

Dear community,
We're trying to set up our release template so that approval tasks are only generated if a product group is specified . If no product group is assigned, we don't want the task to be created. Is there any way to achieve this level of conditional task generation within the release template?
Thank you

I don't think it will happen via template. You will have to handle it via workflow if you are using that.

Thank you @Ankur Bawiskar for the responce, I would be interested if SN is planning to expand the Tasks and Approval Definition with some condition builder to make the solution more flexible.

Hi @Alpa82, Could you elaborate on that?? We have a roadmap item for advanced criteria to figure out who must receive the Approval. Is that what you're looking for?

Thanks,
