I started my DPR training in Feb 2025 only to pause at step #5 as copied/pasted below (from the March 2024 publish date): ITSM BOOTCAMP – DigitalProduct Release (DPR) Configuring Digital Product Release instructions, p.4. When I bypassed step #5, I found the other links do not work either.
Once I created and signed onto Azure DevOps with the free account, I realized Azure has been updated and the instructions provided within the ITSM BOOTCAMP .pdf no longer match up. So here I am today, Dec 2025 and STILL cannot access the Azure DevOps Project to finish my DPR Bootcamp training. Please, HELP!
Azure DevOps (ADO)
Additionally, lab participants will need to set up an Azure DevOps Project to integrate with DPR and import in product features. If you do not have an existing Azure DevOps Organization available for use during the lab, you will need to create a free Azure DevOps account and then request “Free Parallelism” for the organization to enable “Parallel Jobs”. This will allow a limited amount of DevOps pipeline executions in the cloud, more than enough to run through the lab exercises.
1) If you don't have one, create a Microsoft account now.
2) Go to Azure DevOps and select Start free.
3) Enter your account credentials and go through the sign-up process.
4) Create an organization with any name you choose but make sure to use the correct name in the next step.
5) Request Free Parallelism for your Azure DevOps organization: Azure DevOps Parallelism Request Form and make sure the organization name matches exactly that which you created in step 4. It takes a day or 2.
Install an updated PartsUnlimited Project into your Organization
1) Log into the Azure DevOps Demo Generator using the same Microsoft ID used to create the organization https://azuredevopsdemogenerator.azurewebsites.net
2) Click on Choose template, then Private. Upload a template archive from a URL
