DPR Calendar - Can we attach CI's related to each release on the calendar view?

Hi, we are planning to use DPR  for our desktop software releases.  In our home grown release tool - we can associate all the CI's related to release on the calendar view.  Can this be done in DPR?  Example - Release 123 - Outlook deployment - then click on the release view on the calendar to see what CI's (workstations) it's be released to.   Thank you

Hello Jim,
The best practice is to use change records to tie the release to the CIs. The "software model" field of the CR should reference a single release and the configuration item can reference a single CI.   You would need a CR for each, and the volume is such that the creation, tracking and approval of the CR should be automated.
