Hello All,
Can you please help me in understanding all important dates w.r.t release management in DPR and also importance of release calendar. How to handle collisions in deployment dates, release calendars through api or through manual updates.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @RC19
Release calendar is the place a product or set of products follow these will have a schedules, recurring release targets (Monthly release, Quarterly releases) etc.
Release target is the exact date which you want deliver your release on.

Release Calendar Defines when and how often your team releases. It holds the recurring schedule — the cadence rules. One Release Calendar can generate many Release Targets automatically.
Release Target Represents one actual release window — a specific date with a tracked state (Scheduled / Completed / Cancelled). Each target is a child of a Release Calendar.
Example
Say your team releases every 4th Friday of the month. You create one Release Calendar with that recurring schedule. DPR then auto-generates a Release Target for each occurrence — one for April's 4th Friday, one for May's, one for June's, and so on.
Each Release Target can then be tracked independently:
