Hey there,
Quick question does DPR uses a different Table to list the release products in Servicenow or is there an integration done with the SAM module to get info in the same Table and avoid duplication of data in different tables.
Thanks

Yes indeed. The DPR products are using the same table as SAM Software products. cmdb_application_product_model.

Hello @Joe Offenberg ,
Could you please suggest how to manage the products?
1) Creating products:
E.g. If I would like to track releases separately for ServiceNow CSM, ServiceNow SPM, ServiceNow Change Management,... would you suggest to create each of them as product and then one product 'ServiceNow' and mark it as bundle and all the SN CSM etc to the bundle?
2) Can be the modal window to request new product configured to show more fields so the user has to populate more details when requesting new a new product?
Currently there is only field Product name and Owner. This seems to me insufficient information to evaluate such request in order to approve the product creation.
3) Are there recordsin this table also used in any other process?
Thank you

Need clarity on this. Does SAM license is required to use DPR?
If cmdb_application_product_model is not currently being used, like in our instance where we use Business Applications table and Application & Business Services tables only. How can we configure or create entries in this Application Product Model table and have the relations established among all these tables?
If any article or guide available, please share.

No, SAM license is not required for DPR. ITSM Pro provides the needed licensing. Installing DPR provides everything you need to maintain products in the cmdb_application_product_model table.
