Task description field always disappearing when I change another task field

yesterday

While defining the tasks of my process in DPR, I use the custom field Description to enter a a description of the task with essential information. I save it and everything.  But at a later time, whenever I change any field in the task description, the Description field is emptied out and I have to enter it again. What gives?

 

While wainting for a fix, is there any workaround so that I don't have to re-enter the description every time I want to change something?
