Unable to create Change Request from DPR Release record after Feb Upgrade

Dear ServiceNow Team,

After Feb upgrade to DPR, unable to see "New" button to create Change Requests in Release record, instead can see greyed out button "Assign to me".

Looking for clarification, if this is an expected behavior? OR some issue in instance setup?

Hi, you can leverage the product_manager role shipped with DPR to be able to create change requests. Given that the New button is governed by the ACL, you can provide any roles that has access to create change requests and it must work.

In order to add existing change requests to the release, look for field "Software model" in the change request form/list and update it to the version for the release. You'll need to do that using the Change request forms as of now. We are enhancing the change request list in DPR to provide an explicit action to do this quickly in our upcoming release in May 2025.

Just realized, this option seems to be role specific; can someone highlights or pints to what all roles can create Change Requests from Release Records? Also, is it possible to relate change requests, which are already created separately, to DPR release record?
