Update Release Scope in DPR Workspace to view related tasks

In DPR workspace, under Releases->Release Scope we can view list of Related Tasks such as Incident, Problem, Requests that are part of a release. Similarly I want 'Incident Tasks' related list view here and so updated this system property as per product documentation Digital Product Release properties.

This is running as expected but when I try to add for 'change_request' this is not happening for me. How can we add change_request that are part of release under release scope in workspace view.

Hi  @Dr Atul G- LNG & @snowdev8

Thanks for your response here.

Our requirement is show list of change request that are associated with a release record like other tasks INC, PB. Even in 'Change Request' tab under Release Scope we are able to view list of all change record in system with some build-in filters, so here can we get associated change requests by updating UI page in UI builder or any alternate solution for this requirement? if so please guide me.

Because we have migrated data from release V2 to DPR, in the backend form we can view list of tasks part of a release under 'Related Tasks' related list relationship from this table.(sn_dpr_model_release_related_task_m2m)

Thanks in advance

@sowndharyam

Release has a separate L2 Navigation for Change Requests.
The relationship is Change request has a field called "software_model". This field should have the value of the version where the release is created on. From DPR 2.1.0 you have the support of adding existing change requests to your release on Release -> Change Requests page.

Hi @Siva Sankar Ala

Thanks for the response. But I believe the issue is not about adding an existing change to a Release, if I understood @sowndharyam  correctly. She already has a Release Task in V2 for the changes, but when she moved that into DPR, the specific CI Tasks related to the changes are not showing. Instead, it's displaying tasks as expected for Problem or Incident.

So my question is: has this functionality been built in DPR, or does the current migration support this use case or not?

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG

I’ve moved sample data from rm_release to sn_dpr_model_release, and related Incidents, Problems, and Changes show correctly in the backend under Related Tasks.

In DPR Workspace under Release Scope, Incidents and Problems show as expected. However, the Change Request section is showing all changes, not just those linked to the current release.

We need the Change Requests to be filtered the same way—only showing those related to the selected release.

Hi @sowndharyam

Due to an issue with the community platform, the images are not displaying correctly — they look broken. Could you please attach the image instead of pasting it directly?

Atul: It will be much clearer if you can share the images again. As per my understanding, when you created the ETE, you also migrated the Release record from V2 to DPR. Now, are you able to see all the changes linked, or only the changes that were mapped to the Release in V2?
