Hi,

Within DPM workspace and accessing a Business Service offering - the KPI's are not picking up any data and are not populating the Widgets

Has anyone experienced this? It seems be associated to Availability, however when adding items on the DPM homepage it is displaying outages

Off the top of my head, some things to check are:

  1. Have all the necessary CSDM connections been applied to your service?  Business Service -> Business Service Offering(s) -depends on-> Application Service(s) https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/xanadu-it-service-management/page/product/digital-portfolio-manag...
  2. Have you set up the KPI groups for your Service, Service Offering(s) and Application Service(s) https://www.servicenow.com/community/itsm-articles/digital-portfolio-management-what-are-kpi-groups/...
  3. Are your incidents being associated with the right services?
  4. Are the appropriate data collection jobs all active?
  5. Have you waited until those data collection jobs have run at least once?
  6. Have you checked the data source Knowledge Article in Product Docs to ensure the right data is available? https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/xanadu-it-service-management/page/product/digital-portfolio-manag...
  7. Have you set up availability commitments for your service offerings and/or application services?
  8. Are you using outages on your instance?

This video is all about KPI groups and troubleshooting. We start with a definition and highlight the benefits. Then we discuss the anatomy of a KPI group to provide more clarity for how to build and troubleshoot a KPI. We also discuss some of the common pitfalls we see. Finally, we demonstrate ...
