Error when assigning Asset Class in Model Category

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on loading Communication Cabinet records into ServiceNow.
While reviewing the model categories, I found a category named Cabinet with the following configuration:

  • CI class: Cabinet [cmdb_ci_container_cabinet]
  • Product model class: Network holder model [sn_ent_nw_holder_model]

I noticed that this category doesn’t have an asset class assigned.
When I tried to add one, I received the following error messages:

  • Product model and Asset class both have to be Enterprise Classes when selected Parent Model category is an Enterprise model category.
  • Model and asset class should belong to the same hierarchy of the parent category.
  • Invalid update.

Could anyone please guide me on how to properly create or assign an asset class for this type of cabinet?
My goal is to create and store Communication Cabinet records as assets within Enterprise Asset Management.

Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
