@User315140 If I am understanding the issue, when you generate a work order from a maintenance plan, you are unable to generate another work order. If this is correct, I have a question, was the originially generated work order completed (marked inactive)? If it was not, what happens if you mark it complete and retry the Schedule Now? Looking at the screenshots, I see that you have 'Task Creation Policy' field set to Leave Alone. If you would like to be able to generate multiple work orders whether the previous work orders were completed or not, then you will need to set that to Add to Existing. Please try that and if this clears up the issue, please mark this response as Helpful and solved.

This could be caused by several factors:
1. Schedule Configuration
Ensure that the Maintenance Schedule is active and properly configured for future work orders. Verify that the Next Run date is set correctly in the maintenance schedule to trigger future work orders.
Check that the schedule has been properly linked to the correct Work Order Template and is set to generate work orders on the desired frequency (e.g., Monthly, Weekly).
Actions to take:
Navigate to Maintenance Schedule and ensure that the schedule's Active status is checked.
Review the Start Time and End Time settings to ensure that work orders are created within the correct timeframe.
Check the Recurrence Pattern to confirm that it's set for future work orders.
2. Work Order Template
Review the Work Order Template used in the schedule and ensure that it is linked correctly to the schedule. Sometimes, if the template isn't properly configured, it will not create the work orders as expected.
Actions to take:
Go to Work Order Templates and verify that the template is linked to the schedule.
Check the template for any errors or missing details, like task types or other required fields, which may prevent work orders from being created automatically.
3. Automation (Scheduled Jobs)
The automatic creation of work orders relies on scheduled jobs that are set to run periodically. If these jobs are not running or are misconfigured, they won't generate the work orders.
Actions to take:
Navigate to System Scheduler > Scheduled Jobs and check if the jobs related to Maintenance Schedule are active and running.
Review the job logs for any errors or failures when attempting to generate future work orders.
4. Conditions and Filters
Double-check the Conditions for the maintenance schedule. If any of the conditions are too restrictive (e.g., specific filters or criteria), it may prevent the work orders from being created automatically.
Actions to take:
In the Conditions tab of the Maintenance Plan, ensure that the conditions are not overly restrictive and allow work orders to be generated as expected.
5. System Logs and Errors
Check the system logs to see if there are any errors or warnings related to the work order creation process. This can often provide insight into why the work orders are not being generated automatically.
Actions to take:
Navigate to System Logs > System Log and search for any related entries to the maintenance schedule or work order creation.
Look for any errors related to the Work Order generation process and resolve them as necessary.
6. Manual Run Impact
Since the "Run on Demand" link successfully triggers the work order creation, it indicates that the logic is in place for work order creation. The issue is likely tied to the scheduled task triggering properly.
Actions to take:
Verify that no conflicts exist between manual triggers and automated tasks.
Confirm that the "Run on Demand" action is not being used as a workaround for an underlying configuration issue that prevents the automatic creation of work orders.
