Employee Center & ServiceNow Impact
Employee Center is the ServiceNow multi-department, dynamic portal for service delivery and employee engagement. It provides an experience that easily scales from a service delivery portal to an employee destination site or a modern intranet.
All ServiceNow Impact customers have access to the Impact Accelerator catalog, including the Jumpstart Your Employee Center accelerator, which will help you get started with Employee Center. Impact Accelerators are fixed-scope offerings with experts behind each option to quickly provide value exactly where you need it most.
Jumpstart Your Employee Center Accelerator
The Jumpstart Your Employee Center accelerator provides ServiceNow Impact customers with an introduction to the Employee Center with expert guidance.
We recommend this accelerator to Impact customers who are:
- Interested in Employee Center and have not yet implemented
- Considering deploying Employee Center and want to learn more about improving the employee experience through a unified portal
- In need of more personalized guidance after just recently deploying Employee Center
ServiceNow Impact Employee Center customers should expect to get the following benefits from activating this accelerator:
- Gain insights into the capabilities and features of the Employee Center
- Expert guidance and resources to help you get an understanding of how to implement Employee Center
- Receive a personalized guided tour of the Employee Center so you can get to value faster
How to Get Started
- The Jumpstart Your Employee Center accelerator is in your ServiceNow Impact instance already, so head there to get started. You must have an Impact role assigned of “Platform Owner” or “Impact Admin” to access the accelerator catalog.
- Start on your Impact home page, then navigate to the “Initiative” tab, where you will choose “List View” from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the “Start New Initiative” button on the right side of the page.
- Scroll down the page to the second section labeled “Impact accelerators” and use the arrows to navigate until you find the “Jumpstart Your Employee Center” accelerator. Click on “Start Initiative”.
- Fill in any relevant details or things you may want to learn about Employee Center. Enter an estimated date of when you’d like to complete this initiative. Once you have filled out any details, scroll down to the bottom of the page and press “Complete Setup”.
- Once you have pressed “Complete Setup”, your assigned CSM will be notified of your accelerator request and they will be reaching out to schedule up to a 90-minute coaching session. You can refer back to your initiative request at any time via the “Initiatives” tab in your Impact portal.
- During the coaching session, you can expect a review of:
- Portal and employee engagement strategy overview
- Demonstration of Employee Center
- Implementation and migration approaches
- Governance and reporting
- Key resources and guides
- Customer provided 30 days of access to the temporary instance along with Q&A access.
