Advanced Portal Navigation not displaying OOB Help center menu (Vancouver)

Hi Team,

I'm on Vancouver and the latest release of the EC/Pro/Core store apps.
Using latest release of content taxonomy apps as well.

The advanced portal navigation  for Employee Center Pro (which I activated) comes shipped with a navigation menu item of "Help center" (also active). This item is setup as source of Service Portal Menu and is marked as Expanded equals true.
The child menu items under Help center are the OOB Employee Taxonomy topics - there are three levels of those topics - so as an example: Human Resources --> Benefits --> Health and Wellness. All of those menu items are set active. I have added connected content to all of the topics.

In this OOB setup, I do not see Help Center on OOB Employee Center (esc).

What might I be missing?

Thanks!

Hi,

We were logged in as an admin and then had to elevate the security role to access it.

Good luck!

@Kim49 I'm confused. What could you not access before elevating to security role?

@Pooja Gupta1 - is your team able to confirm that on a fresh Vancouver PDI, with latest plugins required, the OOB Help center is available on /esc?
I can't find a way to get that menu item to show on esc - wondering if there's something I'm missing or there's a bug.

@ECAdam The HelpCenter menu item is added OOB only for Employee Center Pro. With Employee Center, you will see standard taxonomy topics as menu items.

@ECAdamdid you ever find a solution to this? Having the exact same problem with EC PRO installed in my Vancouver PDI, and APN for EC Pro is Active, but I cannot get Help Center or child items to show even though they are active and have content associated.
