Change Background Image of OOTB Widget

Hi guys,

im working with the employee center and want to change the background image of the "knowledge Homepage Search" widget. 

Can someone explain me how this works? Do i have to upload the image on db_image table or on the sys_attachment table? After i uploaded the image, can i add it via page specific css for example or do i have to clone the knowledge Homepage Search widget?

hi @JuliaWeis98 ,

You be achieved without code level changes as well.

Please go to the container containing the search widget, you will find the place to add it there.

if it is OOTB , then Go to the page 'kb_home' page and open the first container 'Knowledge Home - Container 1' there you can able to see the Background image option upload the your image there.

Open the knowledge homepage in page editor as below.

Select the Container in which the image is added. Click on highlighted pencil Icon. and change the image.
