Child topics Added to the OOB Taxonomy are not reflecting in the Mega Menu in Employee Center. Even after adding the child topics and connected contents only the items which got as demo are displaying.

Hi there,
Have you tried logout/login? Because adding new Topics, won't immediately display.
Else, please share some info/examples of what you've setup.
Kind regards,
Mark

Thanks for the quick response Mark. As you said we need to logout and login again to see the new Topics, but here I found that we need to have atleast one connected content for getting the topic to be displayed in Mega menu. In the connected content if I choose the content type as catalog item and in the catalog item field if I choose record producer then that record producers are not getting displayed in Employee center portal, only catalog items are displaying, can you help me why it is so.
Please check the below screen shots, the first two items are catalog items and the last one is record producer, when I see in Employee center portal only catalog items are visible.

I have the same problem w our instance.
i created new taxonomy and added topics. default taxonomy was hidden and child objects hidden by the dialogue that was shown.
added catalogue items and after cache problems (logout/login and/or impersonation and/or cache.do) the items show.
but i can not see the "record producer". some how i can search for "incident" and find a record producer.. that is not even in the "cataloge" that the esc portal has connected to it. as that record producer has not cataloge selected.
all is confusing.
did anyone got this solved?

Hi, have you try to add the record producer to a catalog and a category as well. In the accessibility tab, I fill a general category/catalog and it works as expected. But I still have not understand the reason yet, it might caused by somewhere in the difference between catalog item and record producer.
Hope that it will work for you.
