Hello!
I've been tasked with researching what Content Analytics is able to track and set it up for a particular Service Portal (Employee Center).
I've been following the following documentation: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-employee-service-management/page/product/employee-ce...
The issue I have run into is twofold:
1. No data is being tracked. I have a tracking profile set to default but nothing appears in any of the collected data tables.
Once this first problem is solved I immediately see another one:
2. How do I configure it to only track the data on the mentioned portal?
I have not followed the step: "Set up Content Analytics Tracking"
Is it required to add this widget in all the header used even though it is NOT custom? The wording in the documentation states: "To use Content Analytics with custom pages or widgets, add the tracking profile to your Employee Center or service portal theme header and add the cdaAnalytics service to your custom widgets."
Which led me to believe that if I use an OOB page and widgets this should not be required, does anyone know?

If you are using OOB page and widgets, setup is already there. You should see cda-site-analytics widget in header, it doesn't specify profile name so analytics will be tracked with default profile.
If you are adding profile name, make sure the profile name is correct and the profile is active.
Visit the portal with different impersonated users, redirect to some other page so browser buffer is flushed to server side buffer (or it will be automatically flushed approximately in 5 mins), then wait for approximately 15 mins or more. All the tracked events data is queued (first in browser buffer then in server-side buffer). Once the profile import trigger runs you should see the data.

Also make sure that the Campaign is Published and "Tracking on" is selected for the campaign.
