hi all

I have a question - I wanted to know whether I can delegate HR tasks in servicenow using standard delegation or do I have to have granular delegation for that?

As HRSD is scoped application, we need granular level delegate access.

We have granular delegation set up for HRSD but are facing a major issue. When the start date of the delegation is in the future no delegation record is created. We've had a case with SN support for months but have not gotten any answer as to why this is. They say it looks like it is so by design... Which sounds really strange - why would there even be a start date if this is not considered in the actual logic. Have you experienced the same issue?
