Hello,
the Employee Center search does not display any results. The AI was enabled in Dev and the AI guided setup was performed. Is there something that was missed in the process. The feature is pretty much OOB. The results show nothing. I've tried adding Faucets to the ESC Search application with no luck.

Hey @IB98
While AI Search comes with a lot of OOTB configurations there is still some areas you need to define, and it isn't immediately obvious where to do this.
Here are two simple things to start us of to check
a) Have you enabled AI Search on the portal/Employee Center you want to use AI Search in?
b) Have you defined search sources for AI Search in the relevant portal/Employee Center?

Hi Dan,
we have AI search configured in our DEV instance...and we are seeing some odd behavior. The Portal is connected to a Search Application, which is connected to our Search Profile, which is connected to our Search Source.
it appears as though if a KB in our Search Source has any role directly associated with it (OOB or custom; the "Roles" field on the KB itself) it prevents the KB from appearing as an option for a "Promote" improvement rule...AND it is also prevents the KB from showing up at all in search results in the portal on the "search" page...regardless of whether any improvement rules are in place. The KB simply does not show in the results if there is a role associated. Is the expected behavior?
Oddly, these KBs to show up in the dropdown of the "Homepage Search" widget...but they do not appear in the results on the "search" page.
