Is there a way to hide the Mega menu for some users? For example, I would like HR Mega Menu to be only available HR department and the Legal Mega menu only for the Legal department. If there is a way can you walk me through how that can be done?

Hi
No technically you cannot hide mega menu item directly based on roles or department. however, if the connected content is restricted to specific departments then the mega menu item will automatically be hidden from the unwanted users.
E.g for HR mega menu the knowledge bases or catalog categories you are adding must be limited to HR department using the user criteria on knowledge base and/or catalog categories. HR Mega menu will then be hidden from Legal department.

Normal menu's you can restricted based on user or hr criteria. maybe that is the way you should go forward.
