Employee Center Mega menu

Is there a way to hide the Mega menu for some users? For example, I would like  HR Mega Menu to be only available HR department and the Legal Mega menu only for the Legal department. If there is a way can you walk me through how that can be done?

Hi @Nila Chimoriya,

No technically you cannot hide mega menu item directly based on roles or department. however, if the connected content is restricted to specific departments then the mega menu item will automatically be hidden from the unwanted users.

E.g for HR mega menu the knowledge bases or catalog categories you are adding must be limited to HR department using the user criteria on knowledge base and/or catalog categories. HR Mega menu will then be hidden from Legal department.

Hi,

You will have to use "User Criteria" in Catalog Items to do so, we do not have an option directly in the taxonomy definition.

Only with Tokyo, we have the below option to help us further as below.

Normal menu's you can restricted based on user or hr criteria. maybe that is the way you should go forward.
