Hi! OOB, approvals would appear in My Tasks, since it’s an action item for the user.

Hey Getnet,
Worth remembering that Employee Service Center is an enhanced Portal interaction for your users and staff. It's worth noting the features and function changes between Service Portal and Employee Service Center, as generally there is some logic to it.
As mentioned by @Susan Britt , there is a new Header Menu item now called 'My Tasks'.
This collates actionable tasks for a user to complete, which includes Approvals. Remembering that an ESC should grow out to collate multiple business units, the idea behind My Tasks is that you may have multiple types of things to do.
Approvals,surveys, HR related tasks etc.
So you already have a method of providing approval requests to your users, through My Tasks and also the My Active Items widget.
If you really want to have a dedicated My Approvals menu items, you can add a Menu Item like you did before in SP 🙂
1) Navigate to your ESC and drill into your Header Menu
2) In the related tab for Menu Items, drill into 'More'
3) In its related tab, create New
4) Here give a name for your menu item, select type page, and set the page to approvals
Now you will have a menu item called My Approvals

Approvals should appear under My Tasks menu item, since this is an action item (i.e., to-do) pending the user. You can configure these from the To-Dos Configuration module.
