How do I associate my taxonomy with the employee center?

Hi,

I am having trouble getting my mega menu to work.

I have cloned the 'employee taxonomy' but it is not associating with the employee center portal and there is no option to do so. My clone is the only active taxonomy. Any ideas on what to do?

Hii,

Go to portal configuration and then associate your cloned taxonomy. 

Click on edit , slush bucket will appear remove default taxonomy and add cloned taxonomy (do one step at a time).

Hello Alice, 

 

I had this same problem, and realized that I had not associated any content/items/quicklinks to the topics.  If there is not anything associated, then the topic will not show up, and if there is nothing in the entire tree, then nothing will show.

Hi Alice,

In your PDI, you should have access to Service Portal > Portals.  From this module (i.e., list of portal records), open your Employee Center.  Unless you've changed it, it'll have suffix of esc.  Ensure you are in the right application scope, scroll to the bottom to see the related lists (tabs).  You'll see Taxonomy, where you can "Edit" and select the correct one.
