How to add a menu item like More in Employee center header

I've a requirement to add a new menu item, similar to 'More', in the Employee Center header. This menu should contain sub-menu items that display in a dropdown for better navigation. The goal is to create a structured menu system to enhance usability.

However, I’ve heard that it’s not possible to add nested sub-menus under a primary menu like 'More' or any other menu item. Is this limitation accurate, or is there a way to achieve this functionality? Any guidance would be appreciated.

that's how the employee center header works OOB.

if you wish to change then it will require lot of customization to the header widget

But please have a check on this

You're saying that, we can't add a new menu item as it is a limitation right?

I tried via adding a menu item under 'more' instance menu. But its not displaying on header even bottom of the header too.
