Currently we having around 26 carousel dots in widget banner as shown in the below image. Can anyone please how to restrict the carousel to show only 3 most recent items(carousel dots) in the widget banner.

If this is the OOTB carousel, this means that you have 26 items published to it that are active. To only show the 3 that you want, you'd need to inactivate the other items or change the publish end date to something in the past. Hope this helps!
