Use Update set to deploy content library (News, Banner, etc)

Hi all

How can I capture content definitions (News, banners, Rich text, etc.) into an Update Set to move them between different instances? It's possibile?

I just replicated in my PDI and it's not saved to update sets, but you cand enable "Add to Update set" utility, for more details check this: Add to Update Set Utility Documentation and Custom Configurations

Oooor you can export it via XML:

Go to https://sourceInstance.service-now.com/sn_cd_content_base_list.do 

And simply filter what data you want to move, then click right mouse button on any column label, then Export > XML

Then navigate to the target instance, do the same, just select "Import XML" - be careful "Import XML" and not "Import" !!!! there are both options :))

Then add the saved file and let it upload..

But this include "Plublish plan"? I suppose no.

It depends how are your environments governed..

Hi @giuseppem ,

yes you can store ,by going on to that record of any particular table, you  can right click and select the "Show latest update"

and the select the needed update set
