Is there already a direct way to list the Records discarded and/or taken by a Granular Delegation?

Hi there!

As part of the daily activities, final users can create Granular Delegations from their Profile Module.

That is located in:

  • Employee Center Portal > Click on the Avatar user > Profile > Tab "My Delegates" > Btn "Add Delegates" > from there they can configure StartDate, EndDate, Person ("Stand-In" user), and "Responsibilities".

Which affects the table:

  • All > Granular Delegation > My Delegates

Important Note: This is a different table than the one is shown in:

  • All > HR Profile > Users > {search user} > Tab Delegates

Those Delegations can be very "direct/specific" (dunno if correct words) where user can select a specific RITM/Approval and create a Granular Delegation for it.

In the other hand, there is the chance where they can select entire "Responsibilities" that will encompass several types of RITM/Approvals.

Is easy to validate why a Granular Delegation is "not working" for the final user when is "direct/specific", as we can enter to the specific RITM number, and from there we review the "due date", status or any other reason the RITM is not visible for the Stand-In user.

In the other hand, if the user created a Granular Delegation selecting several (or all) Responsibilities, then there is no direct way to know what is the sub-universe of Tasks/Approvals that could be delegated (but that are not delegated due to several reasons like: "due date", status, etc).

We are planning to create a view, that would join all the needed tables, and from there, create a tabular report to show why some Tasks/Approvals are not being Delegated (due to "due date", status, etc). This way we expect to have better visibility of what is happening under the hood.

But before we create that, we were wondering if there is already any OOTB functionality that can achieve that, before we start doing the mentioned report (avoiding to "reinvent the wheel").

Is there already some functionality that achieve that?

Thanks&Regards.
