Hello,
I am using Recommended for you widget and Popular topic widget on my Employee center without any configuration.
It seems the widget is not working because the most submitted catalog item is not on the Recommended for you widget and most popular topic is not top and left side in Popular topic widget.
Is there any configuration needed to activate these algorism?
I have gone through below thread and understand how these work.

This is my situation
- Predictive Intelligence is not yet used
- HR Core Plugin is installed
