Quick Tasks in employee center not showing details of change request approvals

Hi All,

I am facing this issue in the employee center "Quick Tasks" where the details of change request are not showing properly .

The same when accessed from the the "My tasks" menu(renamed to My Approvals) is shown properly .

This is my "task configurations" of "To-do configurations" for change request.

How to correct this behaviour. I want basic text like approval for Change Number to be displayed in the quick tasks section.

Update:
As an experimental idea, i deactivated the OOTB To-do Configuration Details for the change request table and it started to work. But can some one advice if this the right method or is there something else happening?

@Shariq Azim There is no OOTB provision for Change specific approvals to my knowledge

 

OOTB we only provide an Approval entry, as simply put, it doesn't matter what type of approval it is. An approval is an approval, and we are just taking it from the sysapproval_approver table.

 

So it sounds like maybe you turned off an attempt someone made at making a Change specific one, and it's now using the actual OOTB record as intended and hence why its working?

The opposite actually. I disabled the OOTB one and it is working now.
