We have noticed that when I closed the SCTASK (SCTASK00000), the corresponding RITM (RITM111111) did not close as expected.

Did you check the running workflow ( flow ) on RITM? Share the screen shot of workflow.

you are using workflow or flow for this?

To close the RITM once sc task is closed, you will require a custom after update business rule

Is it working fine for other RITMs belonging to other catalog items?
