Restricting Search to Selected Taxonomy in ESC

Hello, 

Is it possible, when viewing a category (taxonomy) in the Employee Service Center (ESC), to display a search widget (such as typeahead_search) and configure it to search only within the items belonging to the currently selected taxonomy?

There is already a search field at the top of the page, but it does not restrict the search to the taxonomy currently displayed on the page.

Hello @ammar_k 

No, it depends on search sources, search profiles, search configurations, indexing and several other things. Just creating a widget won't solve your situation of searching. 

Also, I feel you shouldn't be implementing it like that because it will make whole search configuration a custom thing and then you cannot ask SN for support if anything ever breaks. Also, reverting back in these indexed things is not so easy.
