Taxonomy Topic Chart of relationships - Similar to Org Chart for Topics

Has anyone built a visual view of the Taxonomy Topics, similar to the Org Chart or ITOM Relationship view. This would be useful in the Native and possibly in the Employee Centre.

Ideally it would have the features

  • Select Taxonomy or specify the Taxonomy in the page settings
  • Horizontal or vertical layout
  • Display template (Choose fields to display)

Hi, i havent seen it. I was looking for a similar thing but than in a alphabetical order page. My go approach would be now to create a knowledge article with all topics in it.. with links.. plus translate that page in all your supported languages. In my some wordings is in language x starts with a B.. and in an other language starts with a W.. for example. so auto alphabetically order is challenging.

HI @Gavin Jolly2 ,

You cannot switch between Taxonomies , as you can only have one taxonomy for Employee Center.

Sorry if I was not clear, but your answer does not relate to my question.

I want users, in Native View and also in EC, to be able to view the taxonomy visually.

  1. In Native View is there a solution to view a Taxonomy as a tree, visually, like viewing relationships between CIs in ITOM.
  2. In EC is there a page/solution to view the Taconomy visually. The Megamenu is presenting the taxonomy as the menu items.

Hi @Gavin Jolly2 ,

Unfortunately NO!! You cannot setup taxonomy in the native UI.

To view the Taxonomy, navigate to Content Taxonomy> Taxonomies> Open the "Employee" record, in the related list you can find the menu items.

Sorry, you misunderstand me again so I will rephrase

Could you build a PAGE with WIDGETS to show a graphical tree view of the TOPICS.LIST table for a specific taxonomy.
