Use 2 employee center portal in the same instance?

Hi all,

Is it possible to activate and use 2 different Employee center portals in the same instance?

I suppose that we have to configure different taxonomy and maybe we will have to customise some widgets (My requests, etc)

Hi Dimitri,

 

Yes you can maintain multiple Employee Centers in a single instance. You can assign them their own URL. And as you have identified they would require their own Taxonomy (considering as you mentioned the content may be unique) 

 

Worth just confirming why multiple ESC's would need to exist. If to cater for multiple persona's or audiences within your organisation, a single Employee Center can achieve that. And its one of the big feature sets, tailoring content to relevant users 🙂

Emergence of Employee Center was to make life easy for users such that they don't need to login to multiple portals and only one portal should do it all for you and you can manage the access using roles.

I would suggest not to go with 2 different employee center portals.

 

Thanks for the conceptually i understand the holistical reason for having EC is to make unified approach. However as the platform does not restrict its creation and maintanence why is this allowed? and what are the unforseen issues companies or organisation may faces if they without knowing creating multiple EC portals
