What generates the Knowledge To-do's task?

I created a Change Request which generated an approval along with a knowledge approval request.  I am trying to get clarification on how the Knowledge approval request is generated because we want to cancel it.  This seems to be with all tasks in the ESC, both approval and knowledge approval are generated.  Thanks for any information that you can provide.

I think you have it as part of your change approval process. Shouldn't be something OOB.
