What’s New for Enterprise Architects in the Q4 2025 Store Release

The Q4 2025 Store Release for ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture (EA) introduces a transformative set of capabilities designed to help architecture teams manage complexity, maintain compliance, and deliver business-aligned technology plans with confidence.

From AI-assisted diagram reviews to structured data certification and integrated modeling for cloud and AI systems, this release strengthens the EA Workspace as a central hub for planning and decision-making. Whether you’re rationalizing applications, modeling future-state architectures, or ensuring governance for emerging technologies, these capabilities provide the precision and transparency needed to support enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Capabilities for Enterprise Architects

  • Diagram Change Analysis using Now Assist: Architectural diagrams evolve quickly, and tracking changes is critical for governance. This feature uses AI to compare diagram versions and summarize differences, enabling architects to validate updates efficiently.
  • Description Assistance using Now Assist: Consistent documentation underpins effective governance. Description Assistance uses AI to generate context-aware descriptions for models and records, reducing manual work while maintaining clarity.
  • Business Application AI Insights (for Application Rationalization) using Now Assist: Using this capability, architects can quickly gain AI-driven visibility into cost, usage, lifecycle status, and risk within the Rationalization Workspace. These insights can then help architects make informed decisions on modernization or retirement, align portfolios with business priorities, and reduce lifecycle risks.
  • Cloud Modeling for AWS: Architects can now model AWS architectures using native shape libraries and link designs to CMDB for accurate representation of deployed resources.
  • AI Inventory Modeling: This feature allows architects to model AI components such as systems, models, datasets, and prompts and link them to business applications for full lifecycle oversight.
  • AI Control Tower integration with Enterprise Architecture Workspace: Architects need visibility into AI governance. Integration with AI Control Tower brings lifecycle tracking and compliance dashboards into EA Workspace. This provides transparency for AI initiatives, supports responsible innovation, and aligns emerging technologies with enterprise standards.
  • Data Certification for EA Workspace: With Data Certification, architects can configure certification policies to ensure application records remain current. Certification workflows help maintain integrity, reduce manual checks, and provide confidence in every decision.

With the Q4 2025 Enterprise architecture release, ServiceNow continues to advance enterprise architecture as a unified platform capability for simplifying, transforming, and optimizing technology decisions. This release delivers AI-driven insights, governance tools, modelling enhancements and usability improvements that help architecture teams plan with confidence and deliver with precision. These enhancements reinforce the EA Workspace as a connected, intelligent environment for aligning technology decisions with business outcomes.
