I know there are three roles that are added or used with the EA Workspace:
sn_apm.apm_analyst
sn_apm.apm_admin
sn_apm.apm_user
It seems counter-intuitive to me that the analyst role contains the admin role, but maybe there's a reason I'm missing. However, what I'm really searching for is a read-only role. I want a large swath of our IT population to be able to access and view the components of the EA Workspace, but not be able to modify/update anything there. The sn_apm.apm_user role allows one to update Business Applications, so that's too much access. Does anyone know of a role that provides RO for the EA Workspace?

correct, we are making some adjustments to this role so in the upcoming Feb release, it will really be a role that enables read only access to the EA WS.

Thanks Doron. I'll let my system admin know the sn_apm.apm_read is being modified to allow RO access to the EA Workspace in the Feb release. That's exactly what we were looking for.

Thanks @MEBoatman . I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure when testing with our system admin, the sn_apm.apm_read did in fact provide RO to the Business Application data in the core UI, but did not provide visibility to the EA Workspace. Again, I might be mistaken, but I believe that's what we experienced. I forgot to mention that in my original post.
