Where can I find the definitions for the fields used in the Digital integration management module?

There are a few fields I dont know the difference between e.g. in the trigger there is "Process driven", Manual, Event. if a person clicking on a step in a process triggers this event would it be manual or process driven?

So is there a standard set of definitions of these fields somewhere, or should I post a question for each field im not sure about?

Hi @danssnowquests ,

Trigger means How to trigger the integration?

You have to Use the following options:
  • Manual
  • Scheduled
  • Process Driven
  • Event

For your use case if a person clicking on a step in a process triggers this event would it be manual NOT process driven.

Please refer to the following video to learn more : Strategies for APM's Digital Integration Management

That was an example of what I'm looking for, I really want to know if there is a standard document I can refer to do give field by field explanations.  The digital integration strategy gives part of that picture and a good overview of how to use the model,  but does not seem to explain each field.

Hi @danssnowquests ,

This may help you.

  • Process-driven: Triggered by an automated process or workflow.
  • Manual: Triggered by user interaction, like clicking a button or submitting a form.
  • Event: Triggered by specific system events or external events, such as state changes or notifications.

Accept the solution if it helped
