Appointment booking existing work order

Dear developers and consultants,

 

I have the following use case, for which I am currently looking for a solution:

 

- I have work orders in the pipeline that have come over the integration.

- For some work orders, I should be able to implement appointment-booking.

 

In ServiceNow Appointment Booking configuration requires me to define catalog items. I understood that in OOTB solution Appointment Booking will be available for new tickets created via Record Producer.

 

Question:

Is it possible to configure Appointment Booking and portal widgets so that Agent can afterwards define ticket that requires an appointment? Tickets which are marked should allow end user to reserve time from portal based on assigned to agent availability.

 

Any experiences how you have solved similar issues?
