Approvals on the part requirement record in the Work Order Task in FSM

In FSM, I have a scenario, which requires approvals to be requested on every part(sm_part_requirement) that is requested. There can be multiple parts required for a particular WOTask and only after all the approvals are complete, that WOTask can be progressed to the Assigned state. The sm_part_requirement is not extended from [task] table, unlike the [incident] table, so should I be creating custom fields to capture the approval processes. Please could you give me possible directions for this scenario? 
How are approvals handled in FSM part requirements? We want to go with Task based approach only.

i dont think there's any ootb approval flow when you add a part requirement in the WOT.
qualifier or dispatcher can add part requirments to WOT at any time before task is assigned.

• at this step, you are saying we need these 5 parts to complete the job
  
  now before assigning to a technician , you can " source part" for technician if he doesnt have the part in his stockroom, or they can request themself once WOT is assigned to them
  
  
  the "source part"  flowcan be configured with an approval step in the transfer order line tasks flow.  (inventory > transffer order lines > tgemplate tasks.
  
  
  
  
  from mobile, if someone request a part from your persnal stock room, you can reject
