Hi
Is it possible to increase the limit of displayable columns on a list in CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace?
I want to go above 50 but any new column that I add does not display.

Hello @lars7 ,
The limit of 50 columns in a list view is enforced more strictly in ServiceNow's newer interfaces like Service Portal and Workspace. In these interfaces, the system will only display up to 50 columns, regardless of how many are configured.
In the classic UI, you might be able to add more than 50 columns, but this is not recommended for performance reasons. Having too many columns can lead to slower page loads and a cluttered user interface.
As you noted, there seems to be an issue where configuring exactly 50 default fields results in only 49 being displayed. This could potentially be a bug or it could be due to one of the configured fields being unavailable or inaccessible (due to permissions or other factors) at runtime.
In any case, if you need to display more than 50 fields from a record, consider alternative methods like creating multiple views(databaseview) with different sets of columns or using related lists for data from related tables.
Please mark helpful to all my responses, if it has helped you.

Hello @lars7 ,
The limit of 50 columns displayed in a ServiceNow list view is hard-coded and cannot be changed. This limit has been set to ensure optimal system performance and usability.
If you try to add more than 50 columns to a list, the system will let you add them, but only the first 50 will be displayed when viewing the list.

Thanks for your response
In the documents you refer to I don't see anything about the limit of columns on a list view in workspace?
In classical UI I am able to add any number of columns to my list.
Also, when I do add "just" 50 default fields to be displayed when configuring the list, the system will only show 49 of them. And then, if i configure it to 49 default fields I can however add the 50th field to the list view if personalize the view by editing columns
