Issue:STRY040104 - Create Demand Assessment Metrics

I’m trying to complete the task STRY040104 - Create Demand Assessment Metrics in the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) On Demand module, but I’m stuck.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Problem: The metrics I added under the impersonated user Aileen Mottern are not showing up or being reflected in the assessment.

Steps I’ve tried:

  • Created the metric

  • Confirmed it was added to the Metric Category: Strategic Alignment

  • Verified it appears under Assessment Metric Type: Demand

@Takefumi Muto ,

This can occur due to several reasons. Firstly, ensure that your custom metric is assigned to an active metric category that is included in the assessment survey. By default, only certain metric categories like Strategic Alignment and Risk are included in the assessment surveys......If your custom metric falls under a different category, it might not be displayed. To verify this, navigate to Assessment Metric Categories and check if your category is active and properly configured to be included in assessments......Secondly, metrics are typically included in assessments when stakeholders are mapped to a demand record. If stakeholders are not properly assigned, the assessment and by extension, your metrics may not be generated....

Verify that stakeholders are correctly mapped to the demand and that the demand is in the appropriate state (e.g. Screening) for assessments to be triggered. Additionally, some oob metrics are hard coded into business rules and script includes by their sys_id. This means that custom metrics may not be automatically included in the scoring calculations. To integrate your custom metric, you may need to clone the relevant business rules and script includes and modify them to include your custom metric's sys_id.....
