If you are new to the ServiceNow GRC suite, then you may be struggling with the concept of Entities and how to use them. How do you set up Entity Types? How to determine what should be an Entity Type? There are a couple of really good videos that are in the "New Customer" section of this forum that will help - Here are links to the three that I have found most useful:
Entities (fka Profiles) in a few words - A very simple explanation: All places, people and things that....
This is a 10 minute video that is one that I recommend that ALL members of an implementation team should watch. It explains what entities are and how them improve the compliance process for a company.
Entity Scoping: How GRC Community experts do it (28 min).
This is a GREAT video where several GRC practitioners talk thru and give TIPS for creating entities.
Profiles (Entities) for Governance, Risk and Compliance: why you need them and how to set them up.
This final video is a little old, but the concepts are the same. It shows how to create an entity filter to generate entities. It focuses on the technical "how to" once you have decided what entity types you want.
I think that these 3 videos will provide a LOT of help to those who are new to ServiceNow's GRC suite.
