ACL Script Returns True but the field is still hidden

I have a script which I know returns true but the field remains hidden. Why?

I think so, this is Ezekiels roles:

This is the table level roles (same for one with * and without) for read

ok, interesting bit, i took out the function and it is still hiding:

[Abhinay Erra]

Most likely it is due to the table level acl. Because both the field level

and table level shoul satisfy

but the user has all the roles

Open any of the table level ACL and just give the roles of the user and see if it works
