We have a requirement to have a workflow to check applicability, approvals, reviewers. on authority document record. Is it recommended to have that workflow created? Any rcommendations?

Hi @gourav3
I'm not clear what your use case is because Authority Documents are external and non-specific to your organization (i.e., they're sets of laws, regulations, and industry standards), so don't require an internal review process.
I'm guessing you're possibly confusing ADs and Policies? If that's the case, implementing out-of-the-box Policy & Compliance Management capabilities will likely address your needs.

Hi Simon,
I agree AD are external regulations and don't require review process. But in our case, Customer is manually creating an AD and then there are set of users who need to review and approve before it actually becomes active. Also there are two OOB fields available on AD- Approver and Reviewer but not sure what is the purpose of those fields and how to use them.

Hi @gourav3 ,
it is ONLY recommended and often necessary to create a workflow for Authority Document records when your requirement includes checking applicability, managing approvals, and involvement of reviewers.
