BCM Business Impact Assessment Approval Issue

Before you begin

Role required: sn_bia.bia_admin, sn_bia.bia_manager, sn_bcm.program_manager, sn_bcm.planner

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Workspaces > Business Continuity Workspace.
  2. To update an existing business impact analysis, navigate to the business impact analysis record in the Name column.
  3. Select Approve in the form.
    If you are the business impact analysis owner or the BCM lead for the business impact analysis, you can approve the business impact analysis.
    Note: If an approval record is created for the BIA, the Approve or Reject actions are not displayed on the BIA form. For a user to view the Approve or Reject actions, the following conditions must be fulfilled:
    • The user should have the sn_bia.bia_manager role.
    • The BIA should be in the Pending approval state.
    • The BIA should not have any approval records created.
    When you approve the business impact analysis, its state is updated to Approved.

 

For third bullet within number 3, how can approve or reject button be available if approval record is not created?
